Cutting Barriers Welcomes New Board Members

We are pleased to welcome two  new board members to the Cutting Barriers startup team: Kim Lacombe and Kellie Zimmer.

Kim comes to us from a banking background and is currently the Branch Business Account Manager at Squamish Savings (a division of VanCity). She brings valuable business and financial management expertise to the project as well as a contagious passion for helping her community grow. Kim volunteers on several community boards and is excited to join the Cutting Barriers Employment and Training vision. Welcome Kim!

Kellie Zimmer has been an integral part of the food and beverage team at the Sea to Sky Gondola since startup phase. She has a passion for training and coaching team members to excel on the front line and in the kitchen. Kellie supports the Cutting Barriers project with her expertise and experience in large kitchens, quick serve dining, training staff, and catering and special events. Kellie has lived in Squamish with her family for 16 years and is proud to contribute to this new community initiative. So glad you’ve joined us Kellie!
