Our mission is to create opportunities that empower personal growth through skills training, volunteer opportunities, supported employment, and community partnerships.
Many small hospitality businesses are struggling to find and keep reliable staff. We partner with local restaurants who want to hire trained, ready & willing workers. We work closely with them to ensure that the transition from training to employment is supportive, collaborative, and win-win.
Cutting Barriers will open its doors in 2020 in the new Under One Roof facility with a brand new kitchen, staffed with a talented chef and training mentors who are aligned with our mission. To accomplish this we will need $380,000. Help us achieve our goal and donate today.
