What We Do

Training Program

The Cutting Barriers training program prepares trainees for jobs in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation and basic culinary skills. Under the supervision of expert trainers, students will develop a wide variety of skills and build confidence in the workplace.

A 300 + square foot bakery/café is the perfect place to provide employment to successful graduates of the CBETA’s training. The café kitchen not only offers services to the “Under One Roof” facility but to community members as well. This invites the community to experience and support the incredible programs being run in synchronization at the “Under One Roof” facility, with the benefit of knowing that their patronage helps the trainees succeed.

The Cafe

The Café serves fresh coffee and donuts in the morning and a delicious lunch menu to residents, workers, and visitors in downtown Squamish. The love is in the food. Come down and join us for a coffee, or grab a bag lunch to go.

We offer catering services for your lunch meeting or conference. Not only do we offer a menu to suit your needs and budget, you will be supporting our trainees on their journey to success. Love on your plate. Food in your belly. Feels good, doesn’t it?
